Obituary for Byron Eugene Williams

Byron E. Williams, 76, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at his home.

Born February 15, 1938 in Tug Hill, NY, he was the son of the late David and Leva Williams.

Bryon was employed by the Wilton Developmental Center, and then AIM Services where he was a therapy aid for many years. He was also a member of the Fish Creek Rod and Gun Club.

On May 14, 1960, Byron married the love of his life, Beverly White, in Canton, NY.

Byron enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing and camping. He could frequently be found checking out garage sales and working in his garden. Most of all, Byron loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Byron was predeceased by his brother Robert Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 54 years, Beverly Williams, his children; Donna Eichler and her husband Mike, and Karen Gifford and her husband Milton, his grandchildren; Stacy Holcomb and her significant other Carl Donaldson, Crystal Anderson and her husband James, Heather Pettigrew and her fiancée Russell Combs, Amber McFarren and her husband Patrick, and Steven Gifford and his wife Ashley, his great-grandchildren; Jeremy, Kiera, Kimberly, Alexis, Harleigh, Michael, Madison, Danielle, and Sean, his brothers; Lee Williams and his wife Liz, Ralph Williams and his wife Cindy, and Alden Williams, and his sisters; Helen Cauvel and her husband Chuck, and Doris Vogt, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 2pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Maplewood Cemetery in Saratoga Springs, NY.
