Obituary for Marilyn Carol McIntosh (Boshane)

Marilyn Carol McIntosh, 63, of Hinds Road, passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015.
Born Dec. 20, 1951, in Gouverneur NY, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Olive (Mashaw) Boshane.
She attended Gouverneur School.
On Feb. 8, 1970, she married the love of her life, Ervin McIntosh Sr. They spent 42 years together before his passing in 2012.
She enjoyed all types of crafts as well as reading.
Marilyn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was a devoted wife and mother.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn is predeceased by her siblings Jerry Boshane, Arthur Boshane, and Sharla Miller.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Susan deJong and husband, Harry, Katrina Majer and husband, Scott, Ervin Jr. and wife, Nikki, and Eric and wife, Rachel. In addition are her grandchildren, Joshua, Dalton, Emma, Abby, Zachary, Andrew, Nicholas, Kobe, Ashley, Austin, Jacob, and Colton, and one great-grandchild, Natalie, sisters, Trudy Tripp, Alice Allen and husband Francis, Pam Allen and husband Cheyanne, Patricia Olmstead and husband Dan, and Glennis Dashner and husband Howard, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per Marilyn’s request there will be no calling hours.
A service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
