Condolence From: Yvonne Graham
Condolence: I was fortunate to work with your Mother for a short time at Burgoyne Ave. School as the Speech Therapist working with the kids in her class. She was a very dedicated and caring teacher who made a new member to the Burgoyne Ave. staff feel welcome. After my retirement 2 years ago I was able to reconnect with her at the retired teachers luncheons and greatly enjoyed our chats during lunch. She will be missed. Sincerely, Yvonne Graham

Condolence: Dear Betsy and family, I know how much you loved and cared for your Mom. Her passing leaves a great hole in your heart, but may that hole be filled with all the beautiful memories that were shared with your Mom. She was a fiercely independent woman and your whole family made sure she could stay that way. You all are to be commended for that. She has passed into a sighted world where she will meet all that loved her. Remember her, love her but most of all be happy for her. She is truly in a better place.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to her daughters and their loving families. I loved your Mom from day one of our time together. I would get lost in time every conversation we would enter then often realizing how much time had passed. She's a true representative of the greatest generation that this country has produced and spent her life teaching this greatness to the most precious other our citizens, our children! I have grown as a better person from knowing this wonderful human being and will always be grateful for this gift she gave me. Though sadness has filled my heart from her passing, I am comforted to know that she joins her loved ones whom gather in Gods reward!

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. Mrs Laurson was my kindergarten teacher at Burgoyne Avenue. She was a wonderful teacher, one which I always reflect upon fondly. I always remember this whistle she had at recess to let us know it was time to come in. That memory brings a smile.

Condolence: Marg. I haven't got the words. I had a cappucino yesterday, in honor of you. I'd love for you to walk with my children & show them the helicopters that fall from the trees, to take them to Doberts for an ice cream, or tell them stories of when we'd play memory with Aunt Ruthie (and she beat us every time). I wanted more time. I wanted more memories. You waited 42 years to be reunited with George, and I'm glad you're with him now, and shall never feel pain again. You will always remain the strongest woman I've ever had the blessing of knowing. I was not born early enough to know my other 3 grandparents, but as I've always said, you more than filled the shoes for all three of them plus yourself. This pain, it will lessen in time, I know, but right now, it's so raw and it hurts. I only hope to have a fraction of the strength you've had your whole life. I will think of you every morning, at eight zero zero. "Snuggle down, snuggle bunny. Time to go to sleep and snuggle down." I'll continue to sing it to my boys every night. I love you.
