Kathleen Mary (Durkee) Reynolds, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital after a brief battle with cancer

Born in Glens Falls, NY on March 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Doris (Walker) Durkee.

Kathleen graduated from Argyle Central School, Class of 1964.

She retired from West Mount Nursing Home in Queensbury and for many years she worked at Namic.

Kathleen enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. She enjoyed going to the Saratoga Casino & Raceway and watching the horse racing in Saratoga.

Besides her parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her sister, Harriet (Strainer) Harrington; two brother in-laws, Stanley “Sam” Strainer and William Harrington; and a nephew, David Durkee.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Michael Knowlton, and wife Terri, of Hartford; her step-grandchildren, Sheena Smith and fiancé Scott of Luzerne, Corey Smith and friend Sarah of Hartford; great step-grandchild Skyler of Luzerne; her two brothers, Willard Durkee and wife Beverly of Hartford, and Gerald “Red” Durkee and wife Marilyn of Argyle; along with several nieces and nephews, and her longtime friend Connie.

At Kathleen’s request calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

Burial will be at 1pm on Saturday May 16, 2015 at Union Cemetery, Fort Edward.
