Obituary for Eric Jason Cochran

Hartford

Eric Cochran, 20, Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 24, 2015.

Born in Austell Georgia, on December 21, 1994, he was the son of Jason Cochran and Donna Corey.

He was married to Christen Taylor, and shared a beautiful two year old daughter together, Mariah Grace.

Eric was a family man who loved spending time with his daughter, the love of his life. They loved spending time together, and his greatest accomplishment was the birth of his daughter. His favorite memories were the quality time they had spent together. He also excelled at playing baseball, loved fishing and camping. He was a gentle soul, who had a huge heart, and the ability to connect and care for people of all walks of life.

He is predeceased by his grandmother, Easter “Nana” Dobbins.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Donna Corey and her husband Jeremy, the man who had raised him from a small child, of Hartford; his wife, Christen Taylor, and their daughter, Mariah Grace; his grandfather Terry Dobbins and his wife Norma, of South Glens Falls; his grandfather, Ralph Cochran; his grandmother, Jackie McCutchens; his brothers, Brett Webster and Tyler Corey; his sisters, Kaitlin Cochran, Kayla Corey, and Hannah Corey; his uncle, Ron Dobbins, of South Glens Falls; his uncle, Joe Cochran and his wife Claire; his aunt, Tammy Butler and her husband, Ben; and his cousin, Robbie Hillstrom and his wife Sherry; as well as many other cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Eric’s life will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 28, 2015, at New Hope Community Church, 454 Corinth Rd, Queensbury NY, 12804, with Pastor, Robbie Lankford, officiating.

Burial will be at 11am on Saturday May 23, 2015 at Morningside Cemetery, Hartford.
