Robert “Bob” M. Truax, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born September 15, 1933 in Lake George, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Ainsworth) Truax.

One of Bob’s greatest joys in life was being a truck driver. He also enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, golf, puzzles, the gameshow channel, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife Pearl Bennett, sister, Jean Dexter, brother, Richard Truax, daughter, Sheila Loomis, son, Bruce Bennett, two grandsons, Harold Howe “Little Harold” and Jeremy Abare; as well as a great grandson, “Alex”.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Sherry Battease and husband Jay, Susan Hickman and husband Ron, and Sherrill Brown, his sons; Robert Truax and wife Robin, Gary Bennett and wife Penny, son-in-law; Harold Howe and wife Sue, special friends; Jim Rathbun, Steve Hennessey, Kim Bailey, Nancy Jones along with several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
