Arlene Frances (Hosler) Bisnett, 89, of Glens Falls passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Malone NY, on August 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Reyome) Hosler.

On June 17, 1944 Arlene married the love of her life, Clayton B. Bisnett in Morristown NY, with the Rev. John Erickson, presiding. They spent Fifty Six and a half wonderful years together until Claytons passing on December 17, 2000.

Arlene spent many years working as a waitress; she was employed by Ridge Terrace and The Georgian in beautiful Lake George.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #1231 of Canton NY, where she had just received her 60 year pin.

Arlene enjoyed activities such as sewing and crocheting as well as knitting and BINGO. One of her favorite activities was being a part of her daily breakfast club, which met at the Northway Diner.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Judy Hogue and her husband, James, of Harrodsburg KY, Elaine Henry and her husband, Vernon, of Glens Falls; her son, C. Barry Bisnett and his wife Leslie, of Stratham NH; as well as seven Grandchildren; thirteen Great grandchildren and two Great- Great granddaughters.
