Obituary for Ronald Mitchell Boucher Sr.

South Glens Falls

Ronald M. Boucher Sr., 76, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Albany Medical Center due to complications of a long illness.

Born on October 23, 1938 he was the son of the late Alfred and Edith (Farber) Boucher.

On May 4, 1957, Ron married the love of his life, Cathy in Plattsburgh, NY at Our Lady Victory Church.

Ron was a co-owner of Ron & Cathy’s Restaurant in South Glens Falls.

Ron was a jack of all trades, a do it yourself type of man. He had a very creative mind and could make anything he needed, including restoring the restaurant and his home.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cathy Boucher of South Glens Falls; his sons, Ronald Boucher Jr. and significant other Kathy of Hudson Falls, Robert Boucher and wife Cathy of Gansevoort and Rodney Boucher and wife Carla of Gansevoort; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, brothers, Al Boucher of Illinois and Art Boucher and wife Debbie of South Glens Falls, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Dufford, pastor of Fortsville United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
