Philip J. O’Connor, 27, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home following a short illness.

Born December 30, 1987 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of Shirley Eldridge and her husband Elliott, and William O’Connor and his wife Leslie Ryan-O’Connor.

Philip graduated from Glens Falls High School and was employed by Davidson Brothers Restaurant.

Philip was a very quiet man. He was an avid football fan, especially of the Dallas Cowboys, who he cheered on whether they were having a winning or losing season. He also enjoyed watching wrestling. Philip had a soft spot in his heart for all animals, especially cats.

Philip is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Philip and Catherine Scoville, his paternal grandparents, John and Alice O’Connor, his aunt Gloria Davis, and his uncle Larry Scoville.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Shirley Eldridge and her husband Elliott, his father William O’Connor and his wife Leslie Ryan-O’Connor, his sister Rachel O’Connor, his significant other Alison Kurimsky, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well his beloved cat Luna.

A funeral service will follow calling hours at 6pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Glens Falls at the convenience of the family.
