Karin (Ackerbauer) Blood, age 68, of the Town of Moreau, Saratoga County, NY died on Friday, August 7, 2015.

She was born in November 1946, the daughter of Carl and Evelyn Ackerbauer of Johnstown, NY.

She was a 1964 Johnstown High graduate and a 1986 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology.

Karin is survived by her husband of 47 years, Terry Blood. She is also survived by two brothers, Blair (Urai) Ackerbauer of Alexandria, VA, and Kris (Denine) Ackerbauer of Sun Prairie, WI. She is also survived by two nieces, Kristen Ackerbauer Baker and Kimberly Ackerbauer as well as three nephews, Michael, Carl, and Brett Ackerbauer.

Karin was predeceased in death by her parents and her older brother, David.

Burial at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family and at which time there will be a brief ceremony for family and friends.

Karin wanted her family and friends to know how appreciative she was for all their support during the last few years.
