Beverly K. Montgomery, 82, of Cedar lane passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on Friday, November 6, 2015.
Born March 31, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Nyna Stringer.
On June 26, 1954 Beverly married the love of her life John C. Montgomery.
She was a member of the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church.
Beverly was employed at Lake George Central School for many years.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, stained glass work, bowling in her left handed league, contributing to many charitable organizations and especially spending time with her family.
Besides her parents Beverly is predeceased by her son, Jack Montgomery; son-in-law’s Thomas Parks and Randy Barkman.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, John C. Montgomery; three daughters, Linda Parks-Ackley (Ernest), Patricia Barkman and Carol Taber (Mike); her son, David Montgomery (Tami); grandchildren, TJ (Christine) and David Parks (fiancé Michele), April and John Montgomery, Lindsey and Karlee Taber, and Derek Barkman; greatgrandchildren, Jackson, Carson, Allison and Emerson Parks.
Friends may call from 10am to 11am on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church, 15 Maplewood Pkwy, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. To leave online condolences or to view Beverly’s Book of Memories, please visit www.kilmerfuneralhome.com.
A memorial service will be conducted following the calling hours at 11am.
Arrangements are under the care of M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
