Obituary for Paul A. "PK" Kohn
Glens Falls
Paul A. Kohn (PK), 71, of W. Notre Dame St. passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on April 2, 1944, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Yanklowitz) Kohn.
Paul graduated from Glens Falls High School in the class of 1962 and later attended Ryder College in New Jersey.
When he returned from college he went to work with the family business, Kohn Bros. Shoe Store for many years.
He was a fan of many sports, horse racing, golf and especially rooting for the NY Giants. He enjoyed spending time with his Bull Pen friends and visiting friends in downtown Glens Falls. Paul will be remembered for his sense of humor and his red hair.
In addition to his parents, Paul is predeceased by his brother, Edward (Eddie) Kohn as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his best friend, Jim Johnson and by many longtime friends, special cousins and extended family. He is also survived by special friends and care givers Donna Colegrove and Michelle Palmer.
