Odelie G. Harsha, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Haynes House of Hope in Granville.

Born November 12, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Georgia (Wilson) Greeno.

Odelie graduated from Salem Academy Class of 1958.

She was a communicate of the Catholic Church in Salem.

On March 28, 1959 at Adamsville Baptist Church, Odelie Greeno married the love of her life Richard Harsha.

Together with her husband and children Odelie owned and operated the Harsha Dairy Farm and she was the driving force for her family. She later became a Doberman Dog Breeder for 43 years.

Odelie enjoyed working on the farm, cooking, dog shows, and spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and good friends.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard Harsha; her daughter, Carolyn Jobin and her husband Tom of Massachusetts; her sons, David Harsha of Fort Ann, Myron Harsha and his wife Barbara of Fort Ann and Laurence Harsha of Fort Ann; her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Gwenn Harsha, Jill Pratt, Brittney Churton and Tara McKenzie; her brother, Roger and his wife Jackie Greeno; along with many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Odelie’s passion was breeding and showing Rich-lie Doberman Pinscher’s. She and her daughter Carolyn raised and breed many champions, among them winning best puppy at the prestigious national show. The Rich-lie line will be carried on by Carolyn.

Friends may call from 12:30-2p.m. on Tuesday January 19, 2016 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 123 Main Street Argyle, NY 12809.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 2:30p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church 164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

Burial will be in the spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Argyle.

Donations in Odelie’s memory can be made out to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
