Gloria O’Sick, 88, of Chestnut St. passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 19, 2016 at Washington Center, Argyle

Born in Chatham, NY on April 8, 1927 she was the daughter of the late, Edward S. and Helen (Warner) Clark.

Gloria was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Fort Edward for over 50 years. She loved to volunteer her time at church helping those in need.

Gloria was a bus driver for South Glens Falls Central School for many years until her retirement in 1990.

Gloria enjoyed gardening, quilting and horses. She was very giving, loved people and enjoyed helping the elderly. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Hudson Falls Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, Gloria is predeceased by her husband, John William O’Sick; her brother, James VanLoan; her sisters, Beatrice Prokes, Marjorie Frawley and her twin sister, Grace Clark;

Left to cherish her memory are, her son, Philip J. O’Sick (Doris), FL; her daughter, Gloria Joy Daley and her husband, Thomas, of Fort Edward; her son, Wayne O’Sick, of NV; her daughter, Annine Ogden (Cliff), of Fort Edward; her grandchildren, Tamara Daley, Christopher O’Sick (Lori), Scott Daley (Brooke), Jennifer Bower (Joey) and Daren Ogden; her great grandchildren, Shane Daley, Christopher O’Sick Jr., Brittany O’Sick, Peyton Daley, Nina Daley, and Jake Bower; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call from 3-6 pm on Friday January 22 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am. on Saturday January 23 at St. James Episcopal Church, 112 Broadway, Fort Edward.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11am on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Union Cemetery in Fort Edward.
