Obituary for Pamela Marie Ryan (Barker)
Queensbury
Pamela Marie (Barker) Ryan, 52, formerly of South Glens Falls passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Albany Medical Center on Monday March 28, 2016.
Born in Schenectady NY, on March 4, 1964, she was the daughter of Bernadette (Spoerer) Barker and the late, Nathan Barker.
Pam graduated from Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons High School in the class of, 1982, where she was an active cheerleader.
Pamela was a stay at home mother raising her children at the family home.
On July 5, 1997, Pam married the love of her life, James Ryan, in the backyard of the family house.
Pam enjoyed attending hockey games. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Pamela was a life member of the South Glens Falls Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her Father, Pamela is predeceased by her mother in law, Lois Ryan; her father in law, Martin Ryan and her sister in law, Mary Ryan.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Ryan of Queensbury; her step daughter, Christian Bessette and her husband, Jaysen, of Kingsbury; her step daughter, Colleen Ryan, her significant other, Jason Jusino and her children, Logan and Lili Barody, of Cooperstown; her daughter, Brittney Mitchell and her husband, Cameron, of Hypoluxo FL.; her son, Greggory Ryan, his significant other, Rachel Waldron and their daughter, Isabella and a baby on the way, of South Glens Falls; her daughter, Kaileigh Randle, her husband, Thomas and their children, Jenna, Emmaleigh and Braydon, of Queensbury; her daughter, Makenzee Ryan, her significant other, Tyson Converse and their children Kynleigh and Kadin, of Queensbury; her siblings, Deidre Beckford, Wendy Accardi and Jeffery Barker and their families; as well as many nieces nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 3-5 pm at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St. So. Glens Falls, NY 12803.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4:30pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Albany Medical Center CCU medical staff.
