Obituary for Roxanne M. Bromley

Roxanne M. Bromley

HUDSON FALLS-
Roxanne Marie Bromley, 58, of Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7th, 2016, at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 11, 1957, she was the daughter of Roscoe J. Bain and the late Helen (Walsh) Bain.
Roxanne graduated from Argyle Central School class of 1975 and a graduate of Adirondack Community College.
Roxanne was employed by Washington County WIC, Web Graphics, and most recently, bookkeeper for her husband and son’s business Bromley Sawmill and Machinery LLC.
On August 14th, 1976, Roxanne married the love of her life, Paul Bromley. Married for 39 years, Paul and Roxanne enjoyed a simple but wonderful life together, taking trips to Ireland, the Bahamas, Disney World, and Maine. The greatest treasure of her life was spending time with her family, especially her four grandsons who affectionately referred to her as ‘Grammy.’ Delighted in the simpler things in life, she enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles and soduku. She was a talented artist with her real artistry as a cake decorator for her children and grandchildren. A kid at heart, nothing was more enjoyable to her as watching a Disney cartoon movie, especially with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Paul of Hudson Falls; her children, Thomas Bromley and his wife Michele of Argyle and daughter Elizabeth (Cook) and husband Andy of Hartford; four grandsons Landon, Caleb, Joshua, and Callen; father and beloved step-mother Roscoe J. and Betty Bain of Argyle; sister Marlene Reid and husband Steve of Argyle; brother Steven Bain and wife Christine of Argyle; brothers-in-law Peter Bromley and wife Laurie of Gansevoort and Brian Bromley and his wife Claire of Fort Ann; special friend Brenda Petteys and her husband Glenn of Fort Ann; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At Roxanne’s request there will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 12th, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 10 George St., Fort Ann, N.Y. 12827, with the Rev. Rendell Torres, pastor, officiating.
A reception and celebration of Roxanne’s life will be held at the Argyle Presbyterian Church, 48 Main St., Argyle, following the Funeral Mass.
