Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donald Phillippi can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Donald Keith "Don" Phillippi

Donald Keith "Don"  Phillippi
Donald Keith Phillippi, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 19th, at his home in Loudonville NY, with his family at his side.

Born on January 31st, 1961, in Boiling Springs SC, he was the son of Estelle Cantrell Phillippi and the late Delmos Eugene Phillippi.

Don was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and Spartanburg Community College.

Don enjoyed Music, he was previously a member of The Dixie Prophets Quartet, he enjoyed reading books on historic events, classic television, sports, and spending time with friends, family and his puppies, Gracie, Calvin, and Sydney. He was an avid fan of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, include his wife, Ann Williams Phillippi of Loudonville NY; his step-daughter, Meaghan Osborne of Loudonville NY; his step-son, Wayne Zalucky of Albany NY; his sister and brother in law Mrs. Mike Davis (Patsy) of Hickory, NC. Two nieces, Mrs. Barry Crawley (Cindy) of Morganton NC and Mrs. Terry Oldham (Sherry) of Hickory NC.

Receiving of Friends will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday evening April 22, 2016 , at Eggers Funeral Home,195 Rainbow Lake Road, Boiling Springs SC 29316

A graveside service celebrating Don’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 23, at the Mountain View Baptist Church, Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs SC at 1with the Reverend Wayne Wall officiating.

The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation at northeastny@jdrf.org or Northeastern NY Chapter, 950 New Loudon Road, Suite 330, Latham, NY 12110.
