Obituary for Victoria Domaszewicz

Gansevoort

Victoria Domaszewicz, 89, passed away Sunday May 1, 2016 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born in Saratoga Springs on December 22, 1926 she was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Chudacik) Macica.

She attended St. Peters Academy now known as Spa Catholic.

Victoria was a communicant St. Joseph’s Church in Fort Edward.

Her and her husband Clement raised their family in Fort Edward where they owned and operated the Clems Dairy.

On September 16, 1950 Victoria married the love of her life Clement at St. Peters in Saratoga.

Victoria enjoyed her vegetable garden, family, car rides, traveling, cooking large meals and puzzles.

In addition to her parents Victoria is predeceased by her husband, Clement J. Domaszewicz; her daughter, Mary Domaszewicz; her sisters, Cecelia Hubinsky, Mary Jurscak, Frances Bena, Veronica Reulet and Elizabeth Bena; her brother, Edward Macica.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Agnes Nolan and her husband Alan of Saratoga Springs; her sons, Peter Domaszewicz of Moreau, Clement C. Domaszewicz of Gansevoort and Charles and his wife Susan (Balfour) Domaszewicz; grandchildren, Sarah Nolan-Tice and her husband Timothy, Adam Nolan and his wife Mandy, Alicia Fuse and her husband John; great grandchildren, Logan Fuse and Ayden Fuse; brothers, Robert Macica and his wife Barbara, and Albert Macica and his wife Linda; sister Margaret Swire and her husband Jerry; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Victoria’s request there will be no calling hours.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on Friday May 6, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church, 164 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828.

The Rite of Committal will be at 10:30a.m.on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.

Donations in Victoria’s memory may be made out to St. Joseph’s Church 164 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828 or Open Arms Pregnancy Center 471 Glen St, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
