Edgar G. Bryant Jr., 61, passed away Tuesday, May 03, 2016 surrounded by his family after a long and brave battle with cancer.
Born in White Plains on April 6, 1955 he was the son of the late Edgar Sr. and Margaret (Duffy) Bryant.
Edgar grew up in Mamaroneck, NY and moved to Argyle in 1984 with his wife Patricia. He owned and operated North Country Building Inspections and SunRoomLiving, LLC.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia; his sons, Collin Bryant (Samantha) of Argyle, and Christopher Bryant (Caitlin) of Spanish Fort, AL.; granddaughter, Aurora Bryant; sisters, Joan (Kenneth) Coulter of Louisville, KY and Catherine (William) Roehr of Willmington, NC; brother-in-law, Phillip Olkoski of Wilton, CT; sister-in-law Barbara (Anthony) Spring of Palenville, NY; along with his nieces, Catherine Roehr, Elizabeth Roehr, Margaret (Sean) Fesh and nephews Kenneth (Peggy), Thomas (Carolie) Olkoski, Phillip (Jessica) Olkoski, William (Jess) Roehr.
Edgar loved being with his family and all the wonderful places they explored. Sailing and the Caribbean was very special to him.
The family would like to thank everyone at the C.R. Wood Cancer Center in Glens Falls, NY and Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC.
At Edgar’s request there will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:30a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church 164 Broadway Fort Edward, NY.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
