Debbie (Middleton) Bacon, 64, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 after a long two year courageous battle with hepatic cell carcinoma and osteocarcinoma in the loving arms of her husband of 41 years and the Lord of Jesus Christ at the Indian River Facility.

She was born on August 20, 1951 in Glens Falls to Rita (Center) Kilmer of Queensbury and to the late Curtis Middleton Jr.

Debbie married the love of her life Douglas Bacon on May 1, 1975 by the Rev. Charles Bailey of the Fort Miller Reformed Church.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, and tie quilting, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Besides her father Debbie was predeceased by her sister, Linda Gifford; step-mother, Margie Middleton; her grandparents, Russell and Florence Center and Curtis Sr. and Josie Middleton.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Doug; and mother, Rita Kilmer; her daughter, Sara Conklin and her husband Donald; her grandchildren, Chase and Donavan Conklin; her aunt, Wanda Lebeau; her brothers, Michael Middleton Sr. and his wife Pam, David Middleton and his wife Theresa; her sister, Michelle Randall and her husband Bob; her Uncle, Vic Middleton and his wife Barbara and her nieces and nephews, Josh Pendergrass, Ashley Traver, Emily Johnson, Jenny and Michael Jr. Middleton, Melanie and Brad Middleton, Jessica, Ben and Adam Randall, and several cousins.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00am on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Warrensburg Free Methodist Church, 250 River Road, Warrensburg, NY 12885.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in Debbie’s name can be made to the Liberty House Foundation, 54 Bay Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801 or to the Warrensburg Free Methodist Church, 250 River Street, Warrensburg, NY 12885.
