Obituary for Peter Joseph "PJ" Husek II

Peter Joseph "PJ" Husek II
Baltimore, MD and Fort Edward

Peter J. “PJ” Husek II, 45, of Baltimore, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 14, 2016.

Born on June 28, 1971 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Linda (Barot) Stevens and her husband Robert P. of Glens Falls, his step-mother Connie (Piper) Husek of Moreau and the late Peter Husek.

PJ was a 1990 graduate of Hudson Falls High School. He was a US Navy veteran and worked in food services, construction and whatever he chose after moving to Baltimore. He was a free spirit and a wild child from the very beginning. He lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms. He loved being outdoors and communing with nature. He loved thunderstorms, hurricanes, bonfires and blizzards. His happiest days were spent by the ocean shore, with the people he loved the most. PJ lived an untethered life, which is what he wanted. He loved to travel, surf, and learn about other cultures. He loved birds, bugs, lizards, all creatures great and small and watching wildlife brought him great joy and peace. He was absolutely fearless, he rode the wildest roller coasters and walked out into the craziest storms. PJ had a strong spirit and a gentle soul. He was a fierce protector of those who were dear to him and he depended on no one. He will live on in our hearts and memories of those who loved him most, forever.

Besides his father, he was also predeceased by his step-sister, Christina McKinney

Survivors besides his mother, step-father and step-mother include his soul mate and longtime companion, Jennifer Capozzoli of Baltimore, MD; his siblings; Corey Husek of Fort Edward, Christopher Husek and his wife Amber of Glens Falls, Robert Stevens and his wife Tiffany of New Castle, DE and Brian Husek and his wife Kristen of Queensbury, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
