Obituary for Kristina Keough (Dixon)

Kristina Jewel (DuFrain) Keough, 56, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at her home.
Born September 30, 1959 in Saratoga Springs she is the daughter of Clifford DuFrain and Betty (Dixon) Farley.
She graduated from Fort Edward High School. Kris continued her education at SUNY Albany where she received her bachelor’s degree and graduated from the ROTC program at Russell Sage College as 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve.
Kris loved working for Boces as a Social Work Associate where she was employed for 6 plus years.
She enjoyed volunteering at many places such as code blue in Saratoga, open door soup kitchen, helping any children or women in need, domestic violence centers, Special Olympics volunteer, any charity work, taking care of her family, helping others and most importantly becoming a grandmother recently.
Kris was a union representative for Boces.
Left to cherish her memory include her sons, Sean Keough and his wife Paige and their daughter, Regan of Fort Benning Georgia, Liam Keough of Va, Conor Keough of Corinth; mother, Betty (Dixon) Farley and her husband Orville Farley of Hudson Falls; father, Clifford DuFrain and his wife Un Suk of Colorado Springs; brother, Cliff DuFrain Jr. and his wife Lori of Nashville, TN; nieces, Taylor DuFrain of Wilton and Macy DuFrain of TN; and her half sister, Kari (DuFrain) Mancine.
Friends may call from 4-6p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 82 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828.
A memorial service will be held following the calling hours at 6 p.m.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
