Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Foley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Thomas Pryor
Condolence: One of the kindest people I ever knew. That hearty big voice was the voice of WBZA and his jovial, friendly to all personality, made it something to look forward to each day while I was program director there. Later I ran into him again as he started the Miracle wish organization to help children fulfill their last wishes. Now my wish is for you to crank up those top 40 tunes up there. We'll be joining you one day not too far down the road. My friend and colleague rest in peace.

Condolence From: Jeff Troeber
Condolence: To your family, my deepest sympathies, and prayers that sadness and tears are replaced with smiles from happy memories.

Bless you, my friend. Rest in the comfort of God's arms. Your smile, your encouragement, your kind words were always appreciated by those who got to spend time with you.

"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you
In the palm of his hand."

Condolence: Dave was one of the nicest guys and also was my cousin. We did not see each other often, but he always had a great smile and a family story to tell. Rest in peace, Dave.

Condolence: So sad one of the nicest guys I ever met with a great hardy laugh. He was a great friend to my father. A true individual years ahead of his time in concern for the environment and his commitment to it.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing.

I used to listen to him frequently on the radio and participated in his trivia contests.
I was shocked to have him ask me how the physics class was going, after answering a question one evening.
"who IS this" I asked, suspiciously.
He laughed, then identified himself as Brian's dad; Brian being an EXCELLENT student; one of my favorites, and bound for great things.
...a doctor, I think? (and a first rate computer coder.)
I do wish that Dave had thought to bring some form of ID with him when we crossed the US-Canada border on a bus trip to Montreal.

Condolences and best regards to the entire Foley family.
