The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Mandolare can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Joe Mandolare, my older brother, passed on Monday April 24, 2017 at 11:30 am.

Well Joe's riding the rails of heaven now, the old cosmic cowboy country singer singing "Canadian Pacific Railway takin' me home..." one of his great country tunes. I know he was a heroic soul, if he wanted to be, and I know he was a hero to many of us who will miss him dearly for all that he brought to our lives.

He was my best friend and my brother for many good years and he inspired me with his talent and his courage. He wasn't perfect by a long shot and he made many bad choices in his life, and hurt many who loved him most, in my opinion. Let us put all that aside for this moment and remember him for all the rescues and laughter and fun adventures! All that sorrow he left behind I'm sure, now that he is free to ride the rails and sing his songs to the angels.

In the clouds, I saw his scowling whiskery face fall away and I felt that great cosmic cowboy leave this world behind to travel the Realms Within singing his songs to the lost souls and the angels. He taught me so much-good and bad-now he can teach the angels how to play that 12-string guitar!

Condolence: We were school mates. I am sad to hear of his passing. Although I had not seen him in quite some time it feels like yesterday that we sat on the porch and shared stories. He'd do anything for anyone, had a heart of gold. He'll be missed. RIP Joe where there is only sunshine, peacefulness and love. See yah on the other side. My deepest sympathy to the family. ❤️
