Betty M. Wilson, 85, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Pines Nursing Home.

Born on May 31, 1931, in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late, Walter and Ida White.

Betty graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1948.

On January 30, 1949, Betty married Harold D. Wilson in Hudson Falls. They spent 57 years together until his passing on March 9, 2006.

She worked as a factory worker for General Electric for 30 years. Betty liked tending to her plants and flowers. She enjoyed cooking and traveling with her husband in the RV. Betty was a previous member of the Baptist Church of South Glens Falls. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty is predeceased by her brother, F. John White.

Left to cherish her memory include her son, David H. Wilson and his wife, Nancy of South Glens Falls; her grandson, David S. Wilson and his wife Lisa and their children, Kyle, Cody and Katelyn all of South Glens Falls; granddaughter, Bridget DeMarco of South Glens Falls and children, Brittany Wilson-DeMarco, of Glens Falls and Noah DeMarco of South Glens Falls; her sister, Bernice Callahan of Albany; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
