Mark Edward Heil, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 8, 2017 at his home.

Born on October 13, 1965 in Glens Falls, Mark was the son of Elaine and the late Anthony Pagana of Fort Edward and Carl Edward Heil of Cicero.

He attended Fort Edward High School and then went to ACC briefly.

For the past 7 years Mark worked at Irving Tissue. He loved to go fishing, play golf, ride his bike and pop a cold Budweiser. He had a love for the New York Giants football team and would never miss watching the Superbowl. During the summer, Mark would go out on his brother’s boat.

He adored his family even though he didn’t always show it. Mark lived with and took on the role of caretaker to his Mom and Dad.

In addition to Anthony Pagana, Mark is predeceased by his brother, Michael David Heil; his maternal grandparents, Homer and Julia Jarvis; and his paternal grandparents, Daniel and Julia Heil.

In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his sisters, Pamela Heil Casey, of Queensbury, Diane Heil Barrett and her husband, James, of Wilton, Laurie Heil Wieland and her husband, Peter, of Queensbury; his brother, Christopher Heil and his wife, Pamela, of Queensbury; his sisters, Tammy Pagana and her fiancé, Michael Kokoletsos, of Queensbury and Carmela Pagana-Saville and her husband, Weylin, of South Glens Falls; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.

At the family’s request there will be no calling hours.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
