Fred “Scott” Byers, 60, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on March 13, 1957 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Monica (Vincent) Beaty and the late Frederick Byers.

He attended Fort Edward High School and Glens Falls High School. Scott retired after many years from Harron Communications where he worked as a service and construction tech.

Scott enjoyed hunting and camping with his friends up north at Cider River Flow. On Friday nights, “Boys Night”, Scott and his friends would get together and plan their next hunting and camping trip. He loved going to watch his grandsons sporting events.

In addition to his father, Scott is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Maurice and Yvette Vincent; his paternal grandparents, Albert and Tressa Byers; his aunts, Joanne Walsh and Louise Michlete; and his step-brother, Donald “Rusty” Beaty.

Left to cherish Scott’s memory include his mother, Monica and his step father, Don Beaty of Queensbury; his daughter, Brandy Jamieson and her partner, Dave Pemrick of Greenwich; his grandsons, Max Dixson, Parker and Wyatt Jamieson of Greenwich; his sister, Michelle Armstrong and her husband, Doug of Argyle; his brother, Stephen Byers of Queensbury; his step-sisters, Wendy Mirto and her husband, Clem, Bonnie Beaty ; his step-brother, John Beaty and his wife, Rebecca; his nephews, Jarred Saville, Ethan Saville and his partner, Mika Woodcock; his niece, Morganne Saville; his great nephew, Sylas Major; his great niece, Kaely Saville; his cousins, Chris Walsh Larvia and her husband, Ed, Kelly Cook, Connie Walsh Toler and her husband, James, Kathy Walsh Pettys and her husband, Carl and their families; his best friends, Jerry and David, Janet, Daryll, Jeanne, Ken and many more.
