Arthur Kent Estabrook, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2018 with his wife by his side at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on December 26, 1952 in Utica, he was the son of the late Arthur Benjamin and Julia Ann (Clapp) Estabrook.

Kent graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1970. He then attended Adirondack Community College. On October 20, 1979, Kent married Deborah Winslow at St. Alphonsus Church in Glens Falls. He worked at P&C Market for 22 years. Working at various Price Chopper’s for 25 years, retiring in 2015 as Co-Manager in Granville.

He enjoyed going golfing, playing poker with his buddies, watching horse racing and going to casinos. Kent was an avid Ohio State fan. Also enjoyed having Friday Night Game Night with his family, Pam and Dave Way. Kent loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, but he especially loved going on family vacations to Hampton Beach, Ohio Amish Country and going on cruises. Kent loved spending time with his lifelong friends in Saratoga in August.

In addition to his parents, Kent was predeceased by his father-in-law, Mickey Winslow; his brother-in-law’s, Doug Amell, Mickey Winslow and Jamie Winslow.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Debbie; his children, Adam Estabrook and his wife, Melissa of Selkirk, NY, Marc Estabrook and his wife, Ashlee of Saratoga; his grandchildren, Aaron and Tyler Estabrook of Selkirk, Nora Estabrook of Saratoga; his brothers, Gary Estabrook and his wife, Susan of Sevierville, TN, Brian Estabrook and his wife, Patti of South Glens Falls; his sisters, Anne Wright and her husband, Edwin of Corinth, Donna Estabrook and her partner, Andrea Howard of South Glens Falls; his mother-in-law, Zadie Winslow of South Glens Falls; his sister-in-law’s, Linda Winslow of Summerduck, VA, Donna Bialazor of Fredrick, MD, Tammi Winslow of Glens Falls; his brother-in-law, Tom Winslow and his wife, Dianne of Argyle; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Richard B. Lehmann, pastor of Zion Episcopal Church in Hudson Falls.

Burial will be conducted in the spring at Gansevoort Cemetery.
