Obituary for Paul Joseph LaValley

Paul J. LaValley, 76 of Mechanic St., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his loving friends.

Born in Glens Falls on December 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Alfred and Julienne (Belisle) LaValley.

Paul was a graduate of South High in So. Glens Falls. He was a career US Navy Veteran Serving from 1959 to 1986 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.

Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Edward LaValley.

Left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Louis LaValley (Helen) of Brooklyn & their son, Edward, Pauline and Yvonne LaValley & John LaValley (Patricia); his numerous cousins and many close friends including Rich Alger, Alice Lee David and Lisa Towne.

At Paul’s request there will be no calling hours.

Services with military honors will be conducted at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylerville at the convenience of the family.

Donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.
