Obituary for Trevor Paul "Trev" Ellsworth

Trevor Paul "Trev" Ellsworth
GLENS FALLS

Trevor “Trev” Paul Ellsworth, 15, took his own life on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Glens Falls.

Born September 14, 2002 in Glens Falls, NY he was the son of Peter Ellsworth and Margaret (McDougall) Ellsworth.

Trev, sometimes known as Treasure, was an old soul with a habit of using slang words from a different era. He loved music such as Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and jazz. He possessed a childlike innocence, and enjoyed bike riding, camping, fishing, watching movies, making short films, watching YouTube videos, and playing video games. Trev was the best listener, was always helpful and polite, and desired nothing more than peace on earth.

Trev was also a consummate businessman who would always lend a hand for a buck. He would also loan money for outrageous interest. He decided not to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps to become a farmer due to his self-proclaimed “cow allergy”, and instead came up with several other money-making ideas. His dreams of becoming a ventriloquist fell by the wayside when he marketed muffin kiosks in the mall instead.

Trev always brought a smile to everyone’s face even though it was often difficult to tell when he was joking, especially when it came to his dabblings with the “Pastafarian” religious experience. Trev would have wanted you to know that they prefer short people.

Trev was predeceased by his grandfather, Paul McDougall and his uncle Ray Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Peg Ellsworth, his father Peter Ellsworth, his grandparents; Shirley Bahr, and Sally and Ed Roosa, his sisters; Ginger, Felicia, Nicole, and Kara, his brother Tyler, his niece Alia, his nephews (including one soon to be born); Reggie, Dontae, and K.C., his special family friend Jen, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Friends may call from 4-6pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

A Memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in Trevor’s name can be made to WAIT House, 10-12 Wait Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801, or to the Open Door Mission, PO Box 3306, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
