Glens Falls
Christopher Lee Blair, 34, left to be in the arms of our Lord on Monday, April 9, 2018.
He was born on Saturday, May 28, 1983, in Albany.
Chris attended Shaker Elementary School where he received two gold medals at the Special Olympics. He attended Granville Middle School and Glens Falls High School.
Chris’ enthusiasm for music touched everyone around him, so much that he will continue to ring in our hearts for many years to come. You’d be lucky to beat him in a hand of Rummy, out sing him at a karaoke contest or remember a birthday before he did. But most of all he will be missed for his charismatic nature and his heart of gold.
Left to cherish his memory include his parents, Steve and Judy Merkley; his siblings, James Blair Jr., Monique Watkins and her husband, Thomas, Danielle Pantuosco and her husband, Michael, Stephen Merkley Jr., Preston Merkley and Brandon Merkley and his fiancé, Samantha Brown; his godparents, Uncle Bob (Carol) and Patty Anne; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 11am to 1pm on Friday, April 13, 2018, at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
A Funeral Service will be conducted following the calling hours at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Glens Falls Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Chris’ memory can be made to the Warren-Washington ARC, 79 Glenwood Ave, Queensbury, NY 12804.
