Cathy M. (Kearney) Butler), 70, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Glens Falls Hospital after a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side. She is now free in Heaven with the angels. She will be greatly missed.
Born October 21, 1947 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Guyon) Kearney.
Cathy was a loving wife, mother and sister. She had previously been a resident of Lighthouse Point, FL where she and her husband owned their own insurance agency before returning to the Glens Falls area. Cathy enjoyed antiques, craft shows and having fun at the lake.
Cathy is predeceased by her parents, Edward L. Kearney and Helen M. (Guyon) Leach.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard Butler of Hudson Falls, her son Mark Davis of Queensbury, and her sisters; Carol Bielecki (Bob) of Allentown, PA and Mary Grimm (Bill) of Greenville, TN.
At Cathy’s request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
