Obituary for Erwin Lutz

QUEENSBURY/ARGYLE

Erwin Lutz, 82, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Hudson Park Rehabilitation Center in Albany, NY.

Born March 29, 1936 in Romania, he was the son of the late Konrad and Christina (Krause) Lutz.

Erwin grew up in Germany and graduated from high school there. In 1952, he moved to the United States.

On May 7, 1962, Erwin married Erika Kraus in Greenwich, NY. He was a hardworking man who always took care of his family. He could often be found working on the house that he built for Erika and his children. Erwin also had a love of photography and developed his own photographs in his personal dark room.

In addition to his parents, Erwin is predeceased by his wife Erika Lutz, his brothers; Adolph, Johannes, and Alfred Lutz, as well as his sister Monica Lutz.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Robert Lutz, Richard Lutz, and Johannes Lutz (Rachel), his grandchildren; Nicole, Holly, and Zachary Lutz, his brothers; Wilhelm and Konrad Lutz, and his sister Maria Rollerston.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Argyle NY. Arrangements are in the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Argyle, NY 12809.
