Michele A. Willsey, 48, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from congestive heart failure.

Born March 31, 1970 in Glens Falls, NY, she is the daughter of Phillip Nicholson and Bonnie (Turner) D’Avignon.

Michele graduated from SUNY Adirondack with her Associates Degree and was a registered nurse. She worked as the school nurse at Moreau Elementary School.

On October 18, 1997, she married Buddy W. Willsey.

Michele was a warm and caring person who was always spoiling her pets and taking care of others. She loved boating, swimming, and baking desserts. She was known as “Camp Director Mikki” and always organized her family’s Disney trips over the years. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

Michele is predeceased by her nephew Colton Harke.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 21 years, Buddy Willsey, her father, Phillip Nicholson, her mother, Bonnie D’Avignon, her daughters; Kendra Shea, Juliana Willsey, and Savannah Willsey, her brother Scott Harke, her sister Kim DeGregory (Jim), her brother, Phillip “PJ” Nicholson, and her nephews, Adam and Alex DeGregory.

Friends may call from 2-4pm on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Pine Knolls Alliance Church, 614 Gansevoort Rd, South Glens Falls, NY.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Pine View Cemetery, Queensbury, NY.
