Paul Longdaue, 84, a lifelong resident of Argyle, has gone home on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Granville Center for Rehabilitation.

Born on October 12, 1933, in North Argyle, he was the son of the late, Ernest and Rose (Weaver) Longdaue.

Paul was a 1953 graduate of Argyle Central School.

He is survived by his lifelong best friend and loving wife of 62 years, Helen (Upton) Longdaue. They were married on July 13, 1956, in North Argyle Church. Paul is also survived by his three sons, James, Dennis and Mark Longdaue, his brother, Wray Longdaue and his sister, Elizabeth Carruthers of Argyle. He is also survived by all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved and adored their grandpa as much as he adored them.

In addition to his parents, Paul is predeceased by sisters, Prudence Douglas and Ada Tyminski, his brother, Bud Longdaue.

Paul enjoyed the New York State Fair each year, bringing as many of his grandchildren and others that wanted to come, as well as going to Disney World and camping.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Paul’s memory be made to a charity of your choice.

The Longdaue family would also like to thank Granville Center Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility for their wonderful and loving care that they gave to Paul, and the wonderful support that was given to the family.

At Paul’s request there will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 10am on Friday, June 22, 2018 at North Argyle Cemetery; he will be interned next to his parents.
