Dear Tom, Mrs. Lapham, John & Mike, - Having been fortunate enough to grow up in such a close relationship with your family my memories of Mr. Lapham are many. Although he was a man of few words, his calm presence and demeaner was always so supportive and accepting. On Dake Ave. and at the Lake not only did Mr. Lapham treat all of us kids as one of his own but he also befriended our parents, celebrating their accomplishments and supporting them in their emotional times of need. He was a helpful man. I am sorry to not be able to attend his memorial service but know that tomorrow I will be thinking of you all and be sporting the same little grin Mr. Lapham would throw our way when he would catch us in the middle of something. Please accept my condolences on his passing. RIP Mr. Lapham. - spider
