Constance (Chesterman) Newell, 55, of Wilton, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born in 1957 in Summit, NJ, she was the daughter of Robert Chesterman and Konstanza (Kamper) Chesterman and her step-mother, Delilah Chesterman.

Constance was a graduate of South High and from ACC where she graduated Cum Laude. She worked at Winslows Restaurant as a waitress and later the Chef for over 18 years. She was known at work as “Webster”, referring to her vast knowledge on a “plethora” of subjects. She was happy-go-lucky and always looked at the brighter side of things, never letting a bad situation get her down. She loved animals, music and the beach, but most of all her family and friends.

Constance was predeceased by her mother, Konstanza Chesterman who passed away in 1975.

Survivors aside from her father and step-mother include her daughter Shauna Newell of Wilton; whom her mom called the “Love of My Life and My Reason For Being” as well as her former husband Clifford Newell of Lake George, her Aunt and Uncle, several cousins and her beloved Chihuahua, Tinkerbell.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00am Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at the Church of St. Mary/St. Paul, On the Park, Hudson Falls, NY.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
