Susan Mary Nicodemo, 101, a longtime resident of Marlboro, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Argyle.

Born in Italy on June 22, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Panfilo Damico and Margherita (D’Amico) Dallessio.

She attended Marlboro Schools.

Susan was the wife of Albert F. Nicodemo and they were married for over 60 years.

She worked for many local shoe factories as a fancy stitcher. Susan was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality St. Ann’s Church in Marlboro, MA, the daughters of Italy, and the Garden Club in Marlboro, MA. She enjoyed traveling with the senior citizens all around by bus to several locations throughout the New England.

Besides her parents and husband, Susan is predeceased by her sisters, Anne D’Eorio, Josephine Derosieur, Mary Silva, and, Edith Gaucher a brother Frank D’Amico.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Marilyn Hogan and husband John of Argyle, three grandchildren, Christopher Hogan, Jamie Hogan, and Stacey Hogan, great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kelsey, Sheridan, Justin, and Jackilyn, one brother, Robert Dallessio, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Susan’s request, there will be no calling hours.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 9:00am at St. Joseph’s Church 164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828 with Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor, officiating.

The Rite of Committal will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Donations in Susan’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place
Memphis, TN 38105.
