Obituary for Allen E. Redding

Fort Edward

Allen E. Redding, 63, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Albany Medical Center after a short
battle with cancer.

Born September 20, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, he was the son of the late Charles Redding and Betty
Huckaley.

Allen graduated from San Rayborn High School and then continued his education at San Jacinto College in
Pasadena, TX.

On February 14, 1998, Allen married the love of his life, Sandra Rabideau at Rockwell Falls Presbyterian
Church.

He was the owner and operator of Allen’s Tree Service for many years. For the past seven years he worked for A-Verdi Storage Containers as a truck driver.

Allen loved spending time with his family here in NY and in Texas. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing,
anything outdoors, riding his Harley, teaching the younger generation, and always wanting to learn something
new.

In addition to his parents, Allen was predeceased by his step father, Rex Scovel.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 25 years, Sandra Redding; his children, Allen Redding
(Heather), Joshua Redding (Cecy), Kayla Fishbough (Benjamin), Brandy Redding, Sabrina Ladd, Brendon
Redding; sisters, Suesan Matthews (Kenneth) and Belinda Barfield; along with many grandchildren, nieces,
nephews and cousins.

Friends and family may call from 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home
82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

A funeral service will be conducted following the calling hours at 5pm at the funeral home.

A celebration of life will follow the service at a location to be announced.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
