Alva M. Wildermuth, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Essex, NY on January 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Dwight and Polly (Newton) Anson.

Alva graduated from Westport Central High School in 1946.

On January 22, 1949, she married A. Clark Wildermuth at Wadhams Methodist Church by Rev. Johnstone.

Alva enjoyed crocheting, swimming, was a member of the DAV Auxillary, and loved her family and friends. She was a housewife who was dedicated to her husband and children.

Besides her parents, Alva is predeceased by a son, Dwight Wildermuth, brother Doug Anson, and a step-brother, Bernard Baker.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 64 years, Clark Wildermuth, sons, Steve Wildermuth and wife Linda of Hadley, and Mike Wildermuth of Glens Falls, brother, Dwight Anson and wife Lilly of Westport, NY, granddaughters, Jaclynn Capone, Kendra Capone, and Star Harris and husband Chad, three great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted following calling hours at 1pm at the church with Pastor Rick Yancy, presiding.

Burial will be in the spring at the Faith Bible Baptist Cemetery, Queensbury.
