FORT EDWARD -
Ambrose R. Olson died unexpectedly on April 22, 2010 in New York City. He was born at home on November 27, 1984 in Homer, Alaska to Richard Olson and Lorraine O'Keefe. He would forever change the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Few people experience life as Ambrose did - living it to its fullest; breaking through barriers that stop so many; and achieving dreams that most let go. Ambrose lived each day like it was his last with the sky as his limit. He achieved much in his few short years here on earth, and accomplished more in those years than many do in their entire lifetime.

Ambrose loved his family and they were always foremost in his mind. He was the best son a mother and father could ask for, and as the oldest sibling, the best brother to all his brothers and sisters. Words cannot describe the loss of this amazing person.

Ambrose loved adventure and travelled the world extensively. He was athletic, enjoyed boxing, skiing, lacrosse, hiking, kayaking, swimming, diving, and anything else that tested the limits of his being. He was artistic and had a brilliant mind for thinking outside the box - able to see that which few others would consider. He loved his country, and after studying the constitution developed a plan to return the power back to the states, freeing Americans from the burden of big government. He felt strongly that freedom was our right and was in jeopardy, and wanted to do something about it.

Ambrose graduated from South High in South Glens Falls in 2004. During his senior year he got a contract with the Click Modeling Agency in New York City and began a modeling career that took him around the world. He owned Stone Phoenix Entertainment and Estrada Entertainment; two companies developed and built on his own. He was also a recent graduate from Ocean Corps Diving School in Houston, Texas. He was rated as a Master Diver and held an underwater welder certification. At the time of this death he had plans to attend college in the fall to pursue an engineering degree so he could bring his creative ideas and concepts to life.

Ambrose wrote music and sang, and was simply an amazing person.

Ambrose was predeceased by his brother, William Hawkeye Olson; his grandfather, Richard F. O'Keefe; his grandmother, Lorraine Dorvee; and his grandfather, Lawrence Olson.

He is survived by his father, Richard Olson of Homer Alaska; his mother, Lorraine (O'Keefe) Irwin of Argyle; his step-father, Dan Irwin of Argyle; his former step-father, Raymond Jameson; his siblings, Hannah O'Keefe, Moriah Jameson, Julia Jameson, Sunrose Olson, Homer Olson, Adam Jameson, and Amanda Jameson; Jason Irwin, Shaunn Irwin, his grandparents, Warren and Rosanne Sharrett of Broomsfield, Colorado; his niece, Jaiden Mathis; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as many many friends.

Friends may call upon the family at the Durkeetown Baptist Church, 2 Durkeetown Road, Fort Edward, New York on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Durkeetown Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Friday April 30, 2010 with the Reverend Kenneth Prater officiating. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
