QUEENSBURY

Amy Lynn Reed Alston Gerald, 36, passed away unexpectedly Thursday October 24, 2013 at the Glens Falls Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 2, 1977 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Clifford T. and Lucy A. (Mattison) Reed.

Amy attended Queensbury Central High School and later received her GED.

She worked at the Glens Falls Hospital in House Keeping.

Amy had a huge heart and always put others first. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Amy loved going on cruises traveling to the Caribbeans. She enjoyed gambling, playing casino games on Facebook and occasionally playing bingo. Amy was an avid animal lover, nothing made her happier than her pugs Harmony Joy, Journey Rain, Angelina and Chance Sky.

Amy was predeceased by her baby brother who passed away at birth, Clifford John Reed, her maternal grandparents, Lawrence C. and Marion Mattison, and paternal grandparents Gladys Stanley and Clifford Reed Sr.

Left to cherish Amy’s memories are her parents Clifford T. and Lucy Reed, sister Terrie Lee Reed and significant other David Carpenter, brother Robert Allan Reed and wife Lanitajean, nephews Ronnie Morehouse and wife Angela, Donald Morehouse and partner James Benedetti, Roger Caldwell and wife Cristie, and Michael Reed, niece Miranda Reed, Fiance Richard Gerald, two step-sons Tyrae McIntosh and Isaiah Clements, godson Robert Berg, mother-in-law Christine Gerald, her pugs Harmony Joy, Angelina, Chance Sky, and Journey Rain, as well as many great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, friends, Facebook friends and co-workers.

A funeral service will follow calling hours at the funeral home with Regina Haag, Adirondack Friends and Meeting, officiating.

Burial will follow the funeral services at the Pine View Cemetery in Queensbury, NY.
