Andrew Burch, 23, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Born January 11, 1990, in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Jeffrey Burch and Terri Sawyer and her husband Robert.

Andrew graduated from Fort Edward High School and was employed by Irving Tissue as a painter and groundskeeper. He enjoyed hiking and fishing as well as hanging out with his friends and fighting with his brothers. He was known to spoil his nieces, and was forever fixing his friends’ cars. He loved riding his motorcycle. Andrew will always be remembered for his wonderful smile and his kind and generous spirit. He was always looking for the next person to help out, and would do anything for anyone who needed it. One of his favorite quotes was, “As a kid, I was told I wear my heart on my sleeve.”

In addition to his father, Andrew was predeceased by his grandparents, Donald and Sylvia Burch, his grandfather, Robert Sawyer, and his uncle James Burch.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Terri Sawyer and her husband Robert, his brothers; Shannon Sawyer and his wife Ashley, Colby Burch, Benjamin Sawyer, and Cameron Burch, his grandparents, Peter and Pamela Bombard, and Shirley Sawyer, his uncle Jim Smith and his wife Carie, his uncle Kelly Sawyer and his wife Cynthia, his cousins Michael Smith and Brandon Sawyer, his very special nieces, Madison Sawyer and Myckenzie Burch, several other aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many, MANY close friends including his partner in crime, Nate McDonald, and his favorite dog Broc.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the funeral home, with Regina Haag, Pastor of the Adirondack Friends Meeting officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
