Obituary for Astreya Chrystie Mandigo

FORT EDWARD

Astreya C. Mandigo, infant daughter of Austin Mandigo and Koleen Whitcomb, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 23, 2022.

Born December 15, 2021 in Albany NY, Astreya was beloved by her parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Astreya loved watching the sea lions above any other animal at the aquarium and watching action movies and cartoons. Her favorite place to be was outside, and she had fun four-wheeling and sledding. She loved singing along to music, especially Disney songs, and liked playing with her crinkly elephant. She loved jumping and being swung around. Astreya absolutely LOVED food and also had a sweet tooth. Spending time with her memier always made her happy, and she also enjoyed time with her animal shelter family. She loved animals and was inseparable from her beloved cat. Astreya's favorite thing to do was cuddle all those who loved her. She was a very calm baby who enjoyed life. She will be inexpressibly missed by many.

Astreya is predeceased by her great-grandfather, Paul Colvin., and her great-uncle Dave Barker.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Austin Mandigo and Koleen Whitcomb, her grandparents; Sherry and Ronald Terrio, Jeff and Chris Whitcomb, and Theresa Mandigo and Travis Mattison, her great-grandparents; Charlene Colvin, Dianna and Ken Eggleston, Jean Gonyea and Robert and Harriet Whitcomb, her aunts and uncles, Holly and Andrew Desourdy, Mykayla Howk and her husband Nick, Dylan Mandigo, Bryton Mandigo, Cayden Mandigo, and Eastyn Mandigo, her cousins, Evelyn and Caroline Desourdy, as well as many great aunts and uncles, and extended cousins.

Friends may call from 11am to 12pm on Monday June 6, 2022 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

A Memorial Service will be conducted following the calling hour at 12pm with Pastor Rick Yancy of the Faith Bible Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
