Obituary for Betty Brayton-Smith

Betty Brayton Smith, 91, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019 with her family by her side. Betty was predeceased by her parents Richard and Minerva Brayton of Cleverdale. She was also predeceased by one of her sons Charles George Smith.
She went to Glens Falls high school, was a member of the Mountain Side Grange, the Glens Falls Historical Society and the Oneida Community Church. She loved to sing, line dance and spend time with her many children and grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her eight children, Linda Curran (William) of Gansevoort, Larry Winslow of Fort Collins, Co, Deborah Smith of SGF, Charlene Thomas (Monty) of Lake Luzerne, Melody Archambault (Craig) of Glens Falls, Tammy Incramona of SGF, Richard Smith of Johnstown, Co, Cindy Linendoll (Dennis) of Glens Falls.
Her grandchildren Kimberly McDonough (Martin) Bradley Winslow (Rebecca) Scott Winslow (Sarah) Nicholas Baird (Karen) Douglas Baird (Kayla) Jill Archambault (Liam) Joel Archambault, Jennifer Incramona, Aaron and Ashley Ives along with seven great grandsons.
At Betty's request there will be no calling hours. The family will hold a Celebration of life on Sunday January 13th at the Eagles Club in SGF 2-5.
