Obituary for Beverly Smith
QUEENSBURY
Beverly Smith, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at her home.
Beverly loved her job as a bus driver for the Schuylerville Central School District.
Beverly was a member of the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church as well as the Hudson Falls American Legion Post 574. She also enjoyed country music and was a member of the Northeast Association of Country Western Entertainers. Beverly also liked to go to garage sales. Most of all, she will be remembered as being a strong, independent woman who would always help anyone in need.
Beverly is predeceased by her husband, Paul Squires, and her daughter Jobie Blackmer.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; John Blackmer, Bobbi Blackmer and her significant other Craig “Fred” Pratt, Tina Blackmer and her significant other Noah Nichols, and Cathy Lungen and her husband Ed, her grandchildren; Jason, Wayne, Raymond, Kristi, Joshua, Jasmine, Jeremy, Emily, Jacob, Sheri, Kellie, and John Tyler, as well as several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11-12pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. A memorial service will be conducted at 12pm following the calling hour. Burial will take place the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Argyle, NY following the services.
