Brian Anthony Karas, 50, passed away after a short illness on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Albany Medical Center with his family by his side.
Born on January 6, 1973, in Queens, NY, he was the son of Thaddeus and Maria (Franzese) Karas.
Brian graduated from New Milford High School in New Milford, CT.
On Nov. 7, 2009, Brian married Megan Stern at the Harrisena Community Church in Queensbury, NY.
He worked for Northern Living in Lake George as a Graphic Designer.
Brian Karas spent his whole life making people laugh, helping people any way he could and was always up for a good time. Whether it be waking up before the sun to finish a home project as a surprise, attending a concert for The Screaming Orphans, kayaking on Hadlock, photography and listening to podcasts, Brian knew how to fill his life with purpose.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Josephine and Saverio Franzese and his paternal grandparents, Helen and Stephen Karas.
Left to cherish his memory include his parents, Ted and Maria Karas; his wife, Megan Karas; his girlfriend, Amanda Korzeniecki and her children, Gavin, Bly and Penelope.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
