Obituary for Charles Max Serradimigni

Charles Max Serradimigni, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Born on November 28, 1949, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Giuseppe “Joe” and Clelia “Claire” (Bazzarini) Serradimigni.

Max graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1968. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in the Philippines. He graduated from Adirondack Community College with an Associates Degree in Engineering. Max worked for 40 years at General Electric in Fort Edward as a High Voltage Electrical Engineer.

In 2007, Max married Josabete Silva in Hebron.

Max enjoyed working, solving problems, a good political conversation, visiting friends and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his trips to Mexico, Europe and Brazil with Josabete. While visiting Brazil he enjoyed his favorite drink “Caipirinha”.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Josabete; his children, Moriah Serradimigni and her children, Sage and Coral, Amber Serradimigni and her fiancé, Ryan Wright, Slade Serradimigni and his wife, Alina and their children, Daniel and Nicholas; his sister, Charlotte Chapman.

At Max’s request there will be no calling hours.

Burial and services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Albany Medical Neurological and Surgical ICU staff for their amazing care and compassion to Max during his stay.
