Fort Edward

Dale J. Barrett, 49, of Drifting Ridge passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2012.

Born in Glens Falls on December 26, 1962, he was the son of David and the late Jeanette (Trackey) Barrett.

He grew up in Fort Edward and attended Fort Edward High School.

On February 13, 1993, he was married by Mr. Larry Bickford to Patricia Dawn Wright at the Fort Edward Town Hall.

Dale enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, ice fishing, and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings. He was very outgoing, and loved jokes and did pranks on his family and friends. Dale was known to have a great sense of humor and was very giving.

Above all, he loved spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren.

He worked for many years at area construction businesses. Dale worked most recently for Rozell Industries in Queensbury and was a dedicated employee.

Left to cherish Dales memories besides his father are his loving wife of 20 years Patricia Dawn Barrett, children, Dale J. Barrett II and girlfriend Rebecca Sidusky, Lucas John Cantiello and fiancé Melissa Lampmon, Jennifer Lynn Cantiello and fiancé Sylvester Yefko, Joel Michael Cantiello, grandchildren, Kaylee Ann Fisher, Lainey Kathleen Cantiello, Ethan James Pratt, Raeghan Kathleen Cantiello, Sierra Lee Yefko, Jaxon Sylvester Yefko, siblings, Dwight Barrett and wife Karen, Helene Rabine and husband Joseph, Carol Ogburn, Bonnie Duval and husband Wayne, Mark Barrett and wife Shelly, many nieces, nephews, cousins and too many special friends to mention.

Immediately following at 6pm there will be a funeral service with Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor of St. Joseph’s Church, officiating.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:30pm Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Southside Cemetery in South Glens Falls.
