David Samuel Higgins III, 27, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Albany Medical Center after an automobile accident.

Born on April 17, 1989 in Lancaster, SC, he was the son of Wendy (Pettit) Higgins of Cossayuna and the late David S. Higgins Jr.

David loved his family, helping others, hanging out with his many friends, children and taking care of his animals.

Besides his father, David was also predeceased by his grandparents, William and Barbara Pettit Sr., David and Pauline Higgins Sr. as well as his uncle, William Pettit Jr.

Left to cherish his memory include his mother and her spouse, Rick Harris, his sister, Kerri Catoe and spouse, Andrew of Fort Lawn, SC, his step-sister, Jennifer Harris of Queensbury, his niece, Abagail Catoe, his nephews, Andrew and Aldon Catoe; his step-nieces, Kayla, Emily and Stephanie Tucker; his aunt and uncle, Angie and Leon Harrison; his cousins, Jay and Emily Harrison.

Funeral Services will be at the convenience of the family.
David will be taken back to South Carolina for his final resting place next to his family.
